How much protein is in a can of Prox?
20 grams per 12 oz can, from whey protein isolate and collagen peptides. That is about the same as three eggs or a scoop of protein powder.
How much caffeine is in Prox?
200mg per can, the same as a Celsius or a large coffee. It comes from green coffee bean and green tea extract and is paired with L-theanine, which most people find smoother than synthetic caffeine.
Does Prox taste like a protein shake?
No. Prox is clear and carbonated. The whey isolate and collagen used are acid-soluble, so the drink looks and drinks like a sparkling soda with a slightly fuller body. There is no milky or chalky texture.
Is Prox sugar-free?
Yes. 0g sugar, 3g carbs, 90 calories. It is sweetened without sugar and has no artificial colors.
Is Prox lactose-free and gluten-free?
Yes. Whey protein isolate has the lactose removed, and there are no gluten-containing ingredients.
Using Prox
Can I drink Prox every day?
Most adults can. One can is 200mg caffeine, half the FDA's 400mg daily guidance. Skip it after 3pm if caffeine affects your sleep, and talk to a doctor if you are pregnant, sensitive to caffeine, or on medication.
Is Prox a pre-workout?
It works as one. Drink it 30 to 45 minutes before training for the caffeine, and the 20g of protein counts toward recovery. It is not a stimulant-heavy pre-workout and has no beta-alanine tingles.
Is Prox good if I am on a GLP-1 like Ozempic, Wegovy or Zepbound?
Many customers use it that way. When appetite is low, 20g of protein in a 90-calorie carbonated drink is easier to finish than a thick shake. The caffeine also helps with GLP-1 fatigue. Check with your prescriber.

How is Prox different from Celsius, Red Bull, Monster or Alani Nu?
Those drinks have 0g of protein. Prox has the same 200mg of caffeine as Celsius or Alani plus 20g of protein, for 90 calories. It is a premium energy drink that happens to carry a full serving of protein.

Those are dairy shakes with 26 to 30g of protein and 160 to 230 calories, no caffeine, and a thick texture. Prox is clear, carbonated, 90 calories, and caffeinated.

What flavors does Prox come in?
Orange Dream (orange creamsicle), Guava Pom (guava and pomegranate), and Tropical Rush (pineapple, mango and passionfruit). Older flavors like Strawberry Lemonade and Mixed Berry have been discontinued.
